This print depicts the scene from Greek mythology titled "Thetis Bringing the Armor to Achilles," an artwork by Benjamin West. The image shows the sea-nymph Thetis presenting new, divine armor to her son, the warrior Achilles. This moment occurs during the Trojan War, after Achilles' original armor was lost when his friend Patroclus was killed. The new armor, forged by the god Hephaestus, was brought to Achilles so he could rejoin the battle and avenge Patroclus' death. The print shows Achilles in a state of grief, while Thetis, with a helmet in hand, stands over him. 
Also included is the tissue paper covering with a brief description of the scene.
This is an original,  not a reproduction. It came from a destroyed 1st edition book published in 1892 by Selmar Hess called Character Sketches of Romance Fiction and Drama. There is some damage, aging to the bound side of the print. All prints are either wood engravings, etchings, photogravure, or typogravure.
