Antique Valentine Die-Cut Pop Up Greeting Card, Boys/Cupids with Bow And Arrow, Forget-me-nots, 1910s Card (EP-A170)

Here is a pretty little German Valentine's Day greeting card, from the early 1900s or Edwardian era. It looks to be unused.

It is a die-cut, embossed, and a pull-down or stand-up card, designed to create a 3D effect when displayed.

This card features two children or cupids standing with bows and arrows. The card is designed to stand upright, the background is adorned with blue flowers, forget-me-nots surrounding a heart.

***Such elaborate Valentine's cards, particularly those with die-cut and embossed features, were commonly printed in Germany during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This piece would make a lovely addition to your collection.

Approximately 3"-4" tall.

Condition - It is good for its age. The wing tips of the dove are bent/ripped. Overall a lovely piece.

*My greeting cards are "VINTAGE" from the 1890s through the 1990s.
*Some may show signs of age; such as yellowing, creases etc.
*Sometimes I have to replace the original envelope. Fit might not be exact. Keep in mind, vintage envelopes often yellow at a faster rate than their cards do.
