This is a vintage print advertisement for Camel cigarettes from 1948.
The ad features a comic-strip style story titled "LION ON THE LOOSE!" with a character named Clyde Gordon, identified as a "Zoo Curator". The story depicts Gordon using his experience to calmly handle a lion that has escaped its cage.
The advertisement connects Gordon's professional experience to his choice of cigarette, stating that "EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER" for both handling "big cats" and choosing a cigarette.
The ad highlights the following points:
Main Slogan: "CAMELS—the Choice of Experience!"
"T-Zone" Test: The ad encourages readers to let their "T-Zone" (Taste and Throat) tell them why Camels are the right choice.
Doctor Survey Claim: A section at the bottom of the ad claims that "MORE DOCTORS SMOKE CAMELS THAN ANY OTHER CIGARETTE," citing a "Nationwide survey" of 113,597 doctors.
Disclaimer: This advertisement contains historical claims about tobacco products that are not supported by modern medical science. Smoking is a known cause of cancer, heart disease, stroke, and other serious health issues.

Condition -  Good. There may be marks or scuffs but overall it's a great piece.  The ad is mounted to cardboard and ready to frame.
