This is a truly unique piece. It sat on a desk in my husbands Office in the Village in New York City for over 20 years. When he left the company, it was gifted to him. The only backstory he could get was that it was bought buy a person in NYC.

The work is painted probably with acrylic on a wooden and partical board tray. It depicts a blue-eyed, zombie hipster sailor. At least that’s what I call him. He sports a full beard, piercing dazed blue eyes, ripped Grey pants, chest hair, a white Tshirt and big boots.

It is signed M.P. 10/15/84.
