History Teacher Flashcards, Historical Images Life Related to the Steam Engine & The Industrial Revolution (A644)

This is an amazing collection of images printing on 12"x9" cards. They were made by Holt, Rinehart & Winston, inc. in 1972.

They depict images that can be found in collections such as New York Public Library and other archived collections.

Cards 1-8 are of images depicting daily life Before the Steam Engine.

Cards 9-22 are images depicting daily life After the Steam Engine.

It is fascinating as you look from card to card as you see the changes made because of the industrial revolution. The way it changed the landscape and lives in America is an interesting story and these pictures are worth a thousand words.

These would be a wonderful source for History and Science teachers.

The black and white images are also perfect for framing!

Cards are in great condition with the exception of a couple that have yellowed from exposure.
