Oldsmobile, General Motors Ad, Paratroopers,  Saturday Evening Post, WWII Era 1940s (AR-A721)

This is a vintage World War II-era advertisement for Oldsmobile, a division of General Motors. The ad highlights the company's contribution to the war effort through the production of military hardware.
The advertisement features an illustration of paratroopers and artillery dropping from the sky with parachutes.
The text emphasizes Oldsmobile's role in manufacturing "Fire-Power" for the U.S. Army, including high-explosive shells and automatic aircraft cannons.
The ad was part of a broader government and corporate effort during WWII to galvanize public support and encourage citizens to buy war bonds.
The bottom of the ad includes a call to action: "Do a little shooting yourself! Buy War Bonds".
Oldsmobile converted its factories from car production to military production during the war, producing items such as 20mm M2 automatic cannons.

Condition -  Good. There may be foxing, marks or scuffs but overall it's a great piece.  The ad is mounted to cardboard and ready to frame.
