Purina Cow Measuring Tape, Vintage Farm Equipment, Rustic Decor, Milking Cows, Heifers, Cattle Identifier, Farmer Junk (B065)

This is a weird tape measure I found at a farmers market in Virginia. It is made by PURINA for the purpose of weighting cows, heifers, calves for the purpose of determining how much food to give them. I believe it was made between the 60s and 80s.

It has lots of information that means nothing to a city girl like me such as: Holsteins, Guernseys, Jerseys, Brown Swiss, Fresh Cows, Dry Cows, Milking Herd, calves, heifers.

It would make a unique embellishment for a farm, country style decorating project.

It’s a little over 100” long and 1”. It’s a paper/plastic type material. It’s probably the same material used for bags of purina cat chow.

There are some creases in it. The graphics are great.
