***Here is a framed print of Auguste Rodin's iconic sculpture, The Thinker (Le Penseur). This renowned bronze sculpture depicts a nude, muscular man seated on a rock, deeply engrossed in thought with his chin resting on his hand. 
Originally conceived by Rodin as a representation of Dante Alighieri, the central figure for his monumental The Gates of Hell, The Thinker was later developed as an independent sculpture. It symbolizes the powerful internal struggle of the creative human mind and has come to be recognized as a universal emblem of profound contemplation and intellectual effort. 
This print appears to be a very early early souvenir purchased after viewing "The Thinker." I suspect it dates from the 1910s-1920s.
