Vintage 1950s-1960s Curtain Panel Set, Watermelon Pink Linen Rod Pocket (LN-A066)
This is a handmade set of curtains from the 1950s or 1960s. My grandmother had lots of this fabric and made curtains and clothing with it.
They are what I call a watermelon pink linen fabric. Sometimes it looks more like raspberry. They do not fully block the sun. They are a thin linen fabric offering some light filtering. I tried to show that in the pictures.Color - The color looks a little redder in the photos. I've added some additional pictures which also show the condition issues that I could find.
Condition - They are in fair condition for their age. They were wrinkled when they were stored, however a steamer gets them nice and neat.
-There are some dark spots on the top or bottom of the panels. They could be hemmed to hide those spots if needed.
-One panel has a 4" rip at the very top. It is a straight cut and could be repaired. You can always add a valance to cover the stitching.
I have 2 sets available.
Measurements -
68" long
38" wide
