Vintage 1970s Towel, Damask Bath Towel with Fringe, Red and Orange Roses, Velvet Soft (LN-A064, LN-A076)
This is a stunning towel from c. 1960s-1970s. The towel is bright red and features a repeating pattern of embossed roses. It has a fringed edge at the bottom and is laid out on a tablecloth with a floral pattern. The roses are arranged in clusters, with larger roses dominating the center and smaller ones filling the surrounding spaces. The towel is made of terry cloth. The embossed texture of the roses adds a tactile element to the design, and the bright red color makes it visually striking. The color ois offset with a tomato red orange.
These towels are in very good condition. There are a couple of hand towels that are a little more faded. The last photo shows the difference in the colors.
