Here is an unopened decal art kit from 1979. It cost my mom 98 cents back then. We had an identical set that decorated an assortment of kitchen accessories when I was a kid. 

These decals we’re widely popular in the 60s and 70s. They are making a comeback now. People are using them in tons of creative ways.
