Vintage 50s, 60s, Wool Dress, Pleated Tweed, Black Trim by Normay (A854)
his amazing dress is from the late 50s or early 60s.
I rescued it from an attic years ago and used it for a theatrical costume.
The tag says Normay “the fit that flatters” 14
Color is a Grey tweed wool. The bodice is fitted and accented with Asian inspired black trim. The full skirt is Pleated. There is no lining. The zipper opening is along the back.
Condition- Good. I have included pics of some of the condition issues I’ve found. Overall it is very wearable.
Although the tag says 14, I would would guess no bigger than 6. The dress form is a 6 and it was questionable weather it would fit over the shoulders.

Width at neck opening 7”
