This amazing skirt is from the 50s. As a lover of classical music this skirt appeals to me greatly!

I rescued it from a trunk in an attic recently. It belonged to my Grandmother who was an amazing amateur seamstress.

Colors are off white with multiple shades of browns, and yellows with light blue accents.

The full skirt is Pleated at top to add more fullness. I assume if you added petticoats or crinoline it would flare out more.. The sturdy metal zipper opening is along the back. There are 2 buttons above the zipper and belt loops.


Condition- Excellent- I cannot find any major flaws. There are some discoloration at the bottoms and a couple of small rust spots. These are not very noticeable due to the overall print.

Size - This is Handmade so no Size Tag - I would guess no bigger than 4 or 6 or XS or S. The dress form in the picture is a 6 and it was unable to button at top.
