Vintage Firefighter Photograph, Industrial Fire, Smoke Plume, Explosion, 1950s-1960s (EP-A017)
This is an original photograph depicting a large commercial or industrial fire. There is a sign that is hard to make out behind the flames. It looks like .....EE Co. The firemen are visible in the foreground operating a hose. It looks like the fire is winning the battle.
The photo came from a box of newspapers that I purchased from an Antique Dealer. I would guess this fire is from North Jersey or thereabouts.
Please let me know if you know where this incident took place! I hope nobody was hurt.
