This is a stunning and intricate work of art. It is a large porcelain clam shell full of roses made by Nuova Capodimonte of Italy. I don't know the age of this piece, possibly from the 1970s-1980s. The flowers are large roses.
Condition is very good. Glaze is very nice. There may be minor chips on some of the leaves but it is hard to tell.
