It features a curvy lady tanning on the beach reading a romance novel??? The sun is angry and red like her skin is becoming.
This postcard was mailed on July 11, 1953. The sender jokes to his girlfriend, later to become his wife that he hopes she doesn't get like this! "Sun-burnt"
The art is signed "FOX" It may be an illustration by Gill Fox.
