This is a vintage plaid tin recipe box made by the Ohio Art Company. These types of recipe boxes were a popular household item, particularly during the mid-20th century...and still in my kitchen.
It is made to hold 3x5 size recipe cards. The retro charm and nostalgic appeal make this box endearing to many. The box has a turquoise/aqua lid and a plaid pattern on the body in red, yellow, and blue.
It can be used to store recipes, flash Cards, trinkets or anything else you desire.
