Vintage Trinket Tray, 1920s, Ring Tray, Candy Dish, Bird of Paradise Ironstone China, J&G Meakin England (DE-032)
 
Here is a rectangular, vintage dish, likely made of ceramic or porcelain, featuring a decorative bird of paradise pattern. The dish has a slightly scalloped edge, trimmed with a thin orange line. The central area of the dish has a crackled glaze. On the left side, there is a vibrant design of a blue bird perched on a branch with colorful flowers and foliage. Another smaller bird is depicted flying below. On the right side, there is a smaller cluster of flowers in red, yellow, and blue. The background color of the dish is a creamy off-white. 
It was made by J&G Meakin, a British pottery company founded in the 19th century known for producing earthenware and ironstone china, particularly for export. The mark visible in the image includes the company name, "J&G MEAKIN," along with "ENGLAND" and the registration number "REGP SOL 391443".
